Notre Dame female basketball fans know the names Jackie Young, Jewell Loyd and Arike Ogunbowale. The three players prospered with the Irish and continued to succeed in the WNBA. Now they will come back to where the League scouts have taken note.

The AS of Las Vegas announced that they would face Dallas’ Wings in a pre-season match on May 2 at the Pupillon Purcell. Young and Loyd are members of the AS, and Ogunbowale has played his entire career with the Wings.

The three players collected four WNBA combined championships, four Olympic gold medals, 13 star selections and three All-Star MVP MVP prizes. Even if you are not an Irish fan, even if you are probably if you read this site, it is a great opportunity to look at some of the best players that women’s basketball has to offer. The wings, who have the first choice in the next draft, will probably also have Paige Bueckers:

The trio is enthusiastic about what should be a nice return.
