Notre Dame football is booming in recruiting and now spanning multiple classes, with Wednesday seeing the latest the best recruit commits to the Irish.
Florida linebacker Amarri Irvin chose Notre Dame over teams like Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State And Oregon. The 6-foot, 220-pounder is ranked by the 247Sports Composites as the No. 236 overall prospect and No. 14 player at the position.

Irvin went into detail with 247Sports Tom Loy explains why the Irish (subscription required)as he said, “the people in the building, what they stand for, the standards they hold, the way they play for each other, the brotherhood, that’s all I want to be a part of.” » This is a direct testament to what head coach Marcus Freeman has done with the program, and Notre Dame is once again on the verge of making the College Football Playoff.
