Talented Serbian point guard Nikola Topic is expected to be among the top picks in the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft.

He was injured in the ABA Finals and said he wasn’t quite ready yet.
“I am not 100% cured. I didn’t start running or practice basketball. I focus on rehabilitation, on my body and my knee.”
Topic spent the first part of the 2023-2024 season playing for Serbian club Mega, then returned to Red Star of Zvezda to finish the season in the ABA League and EuroLeague.
He was named the ABA League’s top prospect despite missing a few months in the second half of the season due to injury. Topic recovered for the ABA Finals but was injured in the series opener.
