Just weeks before the 2024 NBA draft, a highly regarded prospect Nikola Topic suffers partial ACL teara new knee injury for the young starlet.

The 6-foot-6 Serbian suffered a left knee injury earlier this year, forcing him to miss four months of the Adriatic League season. Topic returned in April, but only managed four games before experiencing another problem with the same knee in the postseason.

The 18-year-old is expected to travel to the United States for further evaluation and his agent, Misko Raznatovic, insisted this latest injury shouldn’t affect the prospects’ chances in the NBA draft. He said ESPN: “The doctors who checked the stability of the knee confirmed that it is in excellent shape.”

Nikola Topic at the NBA Combine in Treviso:

“I haven’t made a decision yet (regarding the Serbian national team). I have to see my future for next year, make a plan for my knee and my recovery. I feel good. It’s not still healed but in the near future everything should be fine. pic.twitter.com/mTOcdOPiGU

Who are the best picks for the 2024 NBA Draft?

Some projections have ranked the subject fourth among the biggest prospects of the 2024 NBA draft. His imposing size and playmaking skills make him one of the most sought-after players in his cohort, but this latest injury will undoubtedly worry NBA teams.

THE Atlanta Falcons was lucky in the lottery this year and landed the first overall pick, although there are no outstanding candidates in this year’s draft. Most projections have Alex Sarr and Zachharie Risacher as the top two prospects for the 2024 NBA drafttwo talented young French people who wish to settle in the United States.

For lack of a way to describe the former NBA player's change of sport and subsequent qualification for the Olympics, we'll say: impressive.
Redick could end up coaching NBA icon LeBron James, his co-host on the “Mind The Game” podcast.

Alex Sarr is currently signed to the Perth Wildcats in the Australian National Basketball League and 7-foot-0 center could be a real defensive asset in the NBA. He’s full of energy and a standout performance against G League Ignite last year made him a star in the making.

His compatriot Zaccheerie Risacher is a very different perspective, one 6 foot forward who scored at an impressive rate in the playoffs of the French championship. He averaged 15.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game in the series against Nanterre and Monaco and his shooting could make him a real catch-and-shoot threat once he adjusts to the physicality of the NBA.
