For the third time in his career, Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic won the NBA MVP award.
Jokic received 926 votes in total, putting him in first place in the voting process ahead of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luka Doncic, respectively.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jalen Brunson, Jayson Tatum, Anthony Edwards, Domantas Sabonis and Kevin Durant were among the other NBA players to also receive votes in the MVP tally.
Although Jokic’s Nuggets are not currently in a good position in the Western Conference playoffs, his outstanding regular season has cemented his MVP status. It wouldn’t be surprising if he wins it again next year.
