Chile, Joaquin Niemann, pulled a 65 from Sept-Bord without Bogey to win the Adelaide golf title of Liv by three shots at the Grange Golf Club in Australia.
Niemann, 26, started the last round three shots of the rhythm, but had four birdies in his first nine holes when he won his third Liv title out of 13 sous.
The Mexican pair Abraham Ancer and Carlos Ortiz, who had started the final round jointly in the lead with Sam Horsfield in England, both pulled 71 to finish the second row out of 10.
“I’m starting to feel the chills now,” said Niemann.
“I didn’t want to get out of the game rhythm because you never know what could happen, but now I feel this relief and it’s great.”
Ancer, who plays for fireballs with Sergio Garcia, Luis Masaveu and David Puig, won the team’s event, six shots before the Legion XIII of Jon Rahm.
Garcia said: “He’s soft-amer with Abe (Ancer), the way he played, he was there all day and it would have been pleasant to get double.”
Niemann and Ancer were fighting throughout the final round, but Ancer has fallen first, dropping his first shot from the day on the 14th. He recovered it with a Birdie on the 16th but missed the fairway on the next hole then that he recorded another Bogey who gave Niemann breathing space.
Horsfield, which started the final circle with Ancer and Ortiz on Nine Under, finished the seventh spouse after the fence with a three more than 75.
Tom McKibbi of Northern Ireland was also in the group sharing seventh place after closing with a 69.
