The Buffalo-Niagara region has been selected to accommodate the amateur amateur championships of the Professional Association of Professional Disc 2026 (PDGA). He marked the first PDGA world championship organized in New York since the 2011 amateur worlds in Rochester.
Scheduled to take place on four courses – Bond Lake, Royalton Ravine, Black Diamond in Emery Park and the Como Lake lighthouse – the tournament will challenge the competitors with a diversified mixture of hilly hills, wooded fairways and picturesque landscapes.

PDGA amateur world championships will bring more than 500 amateur athletes in the region, putting a local projector on the growing Sport of Disc Golf.
