New York Liberty Announces 2024 Themed Games

NEW YORK (March 21, 2024) – The New York Liberty today announced its 2024 themed game schedule, featuring 10 themed nights, including the return of several fan favorites. The full list of themed games, featured in this video by team mascot Ellie the Elephant, can also be found below:

The 2024 themed match schedule will begin with the Liberty’s Home opening May 18, followed by the third annual New York edition Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Night May 23.

June will be marked by a series of action-packed events Ellie’s Birthday June 9, the 10th annual Liberty PRIDE match presented by RMA of New York on June 22 and third annual edition of the team Sneaker fan game presented by Nike on June 30.

Following the WNBA All-Star and Olympic breaks, the team will host two themed nights: the fourth annual Liberty Night Women Empowerment Game on August 20 presented by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and eighth annual UNIT match on August 24.

To close out the regular season, the Liberty will celebrate its final three themed games in September, starting with its second annual game. Caribbean night September 5, second annual edition Latin Night September 15 and Fan Appreciation September 19th.

The 2024 New York Liberty season kicks off on May 14. Season tickets and tickets to home games at Barclays Center, including all 10 themed games, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.
