It has now been confirmed that Topic has completed his chemotherapy and is set to make his return home. court.
Topic was seen taking part in a pre-game warm-up with the Thunder in December.
He is now expected to return to action with the franchise before the end of the 2025-26 NBA campaign.
The Thunder have impressed in the NBA this season.
They have achieved an incredible 32 victories in 41 matches.
This includes a one-point victory against the Memphis Grizzlies Friday.
The Thunder currently lead both the Northwest Division and the Western Conference.
Topic’s agent, Misko Raznatovic, 59, said the ringleader was making good progress.
He also explained that Topic could feature in the NBA G League before returning to the Thunder.
“It’s hard to pin down a timeline, but I sincerely hope that this year he gets minutes not only in the G League but also in the NBA. courtsif everything happens as it appears now,” Raznatovic said.
“If he stays healthy, and I believe he will, everything that has happened over the last two years will only strengthen his character.”
The Thunder will host the Miami Heat at the Paycom Center on Sunday, January 11.
