The 2024 NBA Draft presented by State Farm currently has 195 early entry candidates, including 38 youngsters who came from Europe as international players.
The NBA announced the list of candidates for early entry Tuesday.
Early entries became eligible for selection by NBA teams on June 26 or 27. However, international players can withdraw their names from the draft and retain their eligibility for future drafts until Sunday, June 16. For NCAA players to maintain college basketball eligibility, the deadline is May 29.
Europeans, including Alexandre Sarr, Nikola Topic, Zaccharie Risacher, Matas Buzelis and Tidjane Salaun, are expected to move from first enrollees to first picks on June 26.
Expanding the annual draft to two days, the first round will take place on June 26 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, and the second round on Thursday, June 27 at ESPN’s Seaport District studios in New York.
