Less than a month before the NBA Draft, the Serbian hope Nicholas Subject contracted a new injury. Considered one of the best players eligible for the NBA in June, Topic was injured in the first game of the ABA Liga final between Red Star and Partizan Belgrade. And it doesn’t seem to be good at all: Topic was escorted off the pitch with the help of two Red Star staff members. The injury appears to involve the same knee that forced him into a four-month layoff in January. All this could also affect the choice of different NBA franchises, Topic even being fifth in the latest Mock Draft from ESPN. Meanwhile, news regarding the injury will be announced by the Serbian club in the coming hours.
