The 2026 NBA All-Star Game feels like a changing of the guard. So far, living legends like LeBron James and Kevin Durant are lagging behind in the fan vote, while younger stars like Victor Wembanyama, Tyrese Maxey and Deni Avdija have jumped ahead. There’s just one week left for fan voting, and about a month later, the 2026 NBA All-Star Game will take place on February 15 from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
The format of the NBA All-Star Game has changed significantly, but 12 players from the East and West will still be named All-Stars. The USA vs. USA format This year’s World will feature two American teams of eight players and an international team also made up of eight players. Commissioner Adam Silver will even weigh in on teams if the numbers aren’t exactly working out. The fan vote always represents 50 percent of the total starters (players and media get the remaining 25 percent), and reserves will be chosen by the coaches.
