The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 76-69In the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday.
Cooper Flagg and Dylan Harper were the two best choices of the draft, and they presented a show in this match. A first quarter 21-11 brought San Antonio to this easy victory, holding the head of everyone except a few minutes. Dallas retaliated with a second trimester 21-12, but the Spurs took control after a third quarter of 26-17, retaining the advance for the entire second half. Spurs fired 42% in the field, 35% of the 3 -point range and 93% of the free throw line while maintaining the Mavericks at 37% in the field, 23% long -range and 65% of the charity. San Antonio also exceeded Dallas, 37-31, while exceeding them in the painting, 38-26.
The Mavericks (1-1) were led by Flagg, collecting 31 points and four rebounds. Miles Kelly was the only other Mavs starter with more than two points, compiling 11 points, two rebounds and two interceptions. Maxwell Cleveland led the bench with eight points and four boards.
The Spurs Starter (2-0) alone with two figures was Harper, finishing with 16 points, six rebounds, two assists and two interceptions. David Jones Garcia paved the way with 21 points, five rebounds and five assists on the bench. Osayi Osifo had 12 points and four boards on 6 out of 7 shots.
The two teams return to action on Monday, with San Antonio against Utah Jazz and Dallas face the Charlotte Hornets.
