Five-star quarterback recruit Elijah Haven received a projection, from 247Sports, to commit to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Haven recently announced its four top schools and included the Georgia Bulldogs, Florida Alligators, Auburn Tigers And Alabama.
The 6-foot-5, 215-pound quarterback plays high school football at Dunham School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Despite its proximity to LSU’s campus, Haven does not count LSU among its top schools.

Haven is ranked as the second-best recruit in the class of 2027. He is the No. 1 quarterback recruit and No. 1 player in Louisiana in the 2027 recruiting cycle.
Haven was Louisiana’s Player of the Year in 2025. He had a historic 2025 season, setting Louisiana high school state records with 62 passing touchdowns and 73 total touchdowns. Haven is a touchdown machine and has produced over 100 total touchdowns in his freshman and sophomore seasons (2023 and 2024).

Haven has a large frame and excellent mobility. He is a true dual-threat quarterback who is always comfortable in the pocket. Haven has a strong arm and good accuracy from deep. He plays against a low level of competition in high school, so it may take him some time to adjust to college football.

Coach Kirby Smart and Georgia Football have five commits in the 2027 class, but none at quarterback. The Bulldogs have the No. 8 recruiting class in the country. Haven could be Georgia’s quarterback of the future if 247Sports’ prediction about him proves wrong.
Another potential Georgia quarterback is Jayden Wadewho is a five-star recruit and member of the class of 2028. Wade could consider reclassifying to the class of 2027.
