Nascar published an official declaration after a judge gave them a major victory 23XI Racing And First row car sports in court.
The Stock Car Races series and the two teams were Imagnation in an antitrust trial since last OctoberWhen 23Xi and FRM decided to continue after refusing to register for the new NASCAR charter agreement.
The teams initially obtained an injunction to present themselves as de facto chartered outfits in 2025, but this was then overthrown months after the season. Since then, the pair has gone back and forth on the issue in the courtroom, Nascar even revealing that they are looking to sell some of the charters that the teams previously had.
The injunction requested by the teams would have prevented that this will occur until the outcome of their antitrust trial in December and would have restored its de facto status.
However, a judge made a final decision on the issue on Wednesday, deny 23XI and FRM their injunction Due to the fact that Nascar will still have six charters in total to leaving if they win their trial, which means that there is no “irreparable damage” for the teams.
23XI and FRM will now be as open teams for the rest of the 2025 season.

Nascar hosts the court’s decision
In an official declaration shared following the court’s decision, Nascar welcomed the judge’s decision.
“We welcome the court’s decision, which brings an essential clarity to the rest of the NASCAR 2025 season”, a declaration Shared via Bob Pockrass wrote.
“For almost 80 years, Nascar and the France family have defended a daring vision by taking many personal and financial risks to build a sport that feeds the means of subsistence, inspires generations and offers a world class competition.
“This commitment remains unshakable, and we will continue to defend Nascar’s integrity and preserve the values that have guided its growth.”

Nascar is addressed to fans
In the last part of their statement after Wednesday’s decision, Nascar addressed fans directly, promising that the current trial does not distract them from their fascinating racing delivery work.
“Aux fans,” wrote the series of stock-car races. “We will not leave this trial distracted from what matters most.
“Provide the unforgettable moments you expect from our great sport and crowning the next champion of the Nascar Cup series on November 2.”
