Nascar suspended two crew members at the Denny Hamlin stand two races each for a wheel that came out of Hamlin’s car last weekend in Bristol.
The Nascar rules indicate that a driver is penalized two laps for a wheel that comes out of the car on the track and that two crew members at the stand are suspended two races.
The following two races are missing – New Hampshire and Kansas – for the Hamlin team, the Hamlin tire changer will be the tire changer Austin Maloney and Jackman Joel -Alexandre Bouagnon.
Joe Gibbs Racing did not announce a replacement for the two crew members for Sunday race at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (the cover before the race starts at 1:30 p.m. on USA Network).
Hamlin is the leader in the points entering the second round of the playoffs. It is 26 points above the cutting line.
