Ricky Stenhouse Jr. And Kyle BuschIt is fight at the 2024 NASCAR All-Star race was the main topic this week. After Busch destroyed Stenhouse in the opening laps of the All-Star Race, the driver of the No. 47 car pulled into the pit of the No. 8 team. Then Stenhouse waited for Busch after the race, confronted him and the fists started flying.
However, some penalties could come from the fight, most notably against Ricky Stenhouse Sr., who fought Busch. Stenhouse Jr. had to ask someone to remove his father from the fight toward the end. The damage is already done, but it could result in a suspension, similar to when Nick Sanchez’s father was suspended for his role in his son’s fight with Matt Crafton in 2023.
If sanctions are imposed, Stenhouse Sr. would likely face the heaviest consequences, which is to be expected. As for Busch and Stenhouse Jr., neither will be suspended for their actions, but a fine wouldn’t be surprising, especially for the JTG Daugherty Racing driver. The NASCAR penalty report will be out soon, so the wait shouldn’t be too long.
