It’s no secret LIV Golf has offered some of its biggest names substantial sums to acquire their talents. Some of the highest paid, like Dustin Johnson, might spend their money on fishing boats and waterfront properties. Others, like Bryson DeChambeau, are using it to open golf courses as an investment opportunity.
DeChambeau is doing just that as he plans to open “UnderPar Life,” a two-story complex with a 42-shot bay, a 500-yard driving range, a Tour-level short game area, an educational academy, a restaurant run by a famous chef, and three bars.

• 500 meter practice
• Short game zone at circuit level
• Educational academy
• Fitness Center

DeChambeau maintained that his decision to leave the PGA Tour and join LIV Golf was a “business decision.” It gave him the opportunity to provide a richer life for himself and others, and that’s exactly what this resort does.
Dechambeau said, regarding the new project (via Sports at reception):
“Expenses are a barrier to most things in life. This is an unusually high obstacle for experiencing the joys of golf. Our initiatives aim to make golf more affordable, more accessible and more enjoyable for everyone. Our approach, in partnership with municipal golf courses, removes significant financial barriers and allows us to grow the golfing community.
Since leaving the PGA Tour and joining LIV Golf, likely catalyzed by injuries and overall career uncertainty following those illnesses, Dechambeau has taken the opportunity to play less golf and develop his personal brand, which he has made it through content creation on various social media platforms.
But this itself is a noble effort by the U.S. Open champion to grow the game of golf and provide a new entertainment option for the people of Fort Worth, Texas, and the surrounding areas.
It will keep kids off the streets and maybe put a golf club in their hands, and we all know that once this bug bites you, it’s hard to stop chasing it.
It will also be a great place, according to the photos released.
