Minnesota Lynx Star Napheesa Collier has broadcast a Wnba-Indiana fever grievance

The WNBA published its dissemination calendar in 2025 last week, and some fans were delighted to see how the League featured the fever of Indiana and the title of the year Caitlin Clark.

The fever welcomes the Sky de Chicago in the second game of a double-week opening week on May 17, and the team will be presented in good place in 40 other television games at the national level broadcast on CBS, ABC / ESPN and Ion.

And while few can blame the WNBA of wanting to collect the star of Clark – the Several teams even moved their matches against fever to larger arenas to meet the demand for tickets – one of the star players in the League recently expressed a little frustration with some of the diffusion decisions that the League has taken.

During a recent appearance on ESPN’s “First Take”, the Minnesota Lynx Naphees Collier striker subtly called the WNBA for giving fever the domination of the fever to the detriment of certain other deserving teams.

“I mean, of course, people want to watch Caitlin play, and so you have to put people on television that people want to see”, ” Necklace said. “But at the same time … so as not to have more champions on television, I think it’s a little crazy. It should not be where you withdraw Indiana games, but I think you can also increase the level of television games for other teams.”

In Collier’s Point, the title champion of the WNBA, New York Liberty, who presents the star guard Sabrina Ionescu and the star striker Breanna Stewart, have only 32 television games at the national level, and the Las Vegas Aces, who won consecutive titles over the previous two years and were boasting of the MVP A’ja Wilson, national television.

However, necklace made sure to clarify that her reproach was not with Clark, who, she said, should be pushed by the League as much as possible, but rather with the WNBA for not trying to promote her recent champions.

“I do not think (Clark being so presented) a problem,” continued necklace. “I think Caitlin is a star, and as I said, people want to see her … You have to put the players on television on television that people want to see. But in a way what I said before, I don’t think the level of other teams must mean bringing Caitlin or the Indiana fever to fall.
