The Michigan State basketball team has released its official non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
The Spartans will unofficially begin the season with an exhibition game at Northern Michigan on Oct. 13. It will be a special game for Spartans head coach Tom Izzo, who will be returning to where he played college football.
Michigan State will play another exhibition game against Ferris State on Oct. 29 at home before officially starting the season on Nov. 4 against Monmouth at the Breslin Center.
Some of the most notable games on the Spartans’ non-conference schedule are against Kansas on Nov. 12 in the Champions Classicthree games in the Maui Invitational Tournament Thanksgiving week and a home game against Florida Atlantic on Dec. 21.
