Last week I asked a question originally suggested by Johnny, aka Alpha6:
With the idea that our Miami Dolphins have moved several members of the Green Bay Packers front office and coaching staff away to rebuild the personnel in Miami, do you see the Packers taking a step back, i.e. are they now weakened by subtraction, and/or will our own Dolphins take a step forward, i.e. strengthened by addition?
I didn’t get as many responses as I would have liked, but here are some of the thoughts and responses we got:

LeRoo1 gave us some additional ideas on which to base our articles. Always appreciated! Any ideas at any time can be sent to me via the comments section of my post or directly via my X/Twitter account.
James, since the Phins will be basement buyers this year in free agency, articles on matching needs with low-budget fillers,,,, pick a position group and off you go.
Or
Highlight the Miami Rehab Center, in association with Baptist Health, can Phins develop a reputation as a premier location for players rehabbing or returning from injury. Can we get good one or two year rentals for returning players wanting to take advantage of Phin’s facilities and staff.
An introductory article on contract types, futures, etc., the effect on the salary cap, cap dates, requirements and ways to extend the cap.
just a few ideas
finfanfromsiamaccording to TheRoo1, he doesn’t want any more broken players.
Please, no more injured players with potential or potential….!
CaliFinsin response to finfanfromsiam, agrees on the problem of failing players and doesn’t want players to be signed just because they were great.
This was my biggest complaint. We’re short on caps, but we’re going to bring in an injured Beckham and have him collect a check for most of the season so we can sell jerseys with his name on them. Or, next season, we start again with Waller!! That million dollars for Beckham was thrown away and McDaniel was so busy looking at his shiny new toy in Waller and thinking about all the big things he could open up for him, that he missed seeing Dulcich on his own practice squad until the end of the season.
I’m glad this regime sees that. Build a tough next man up culture from the inside out. Nurture players for years, don’t rent them for one or two.
Dolfanjoe I hope we don’t do this again in 4-6 years.
Should we put the Dolphin flag at (Half Staff)! Keep some of the Miami staff and add the GB to the top of the food chain? What happens in 27 when you have the first pick in the draft? Will they say the plan went perfectly? Or will the fans clamor to leave with their heads! Will Great Britain be there with the second pick in the draft because they lost coaches and couldn’t find anyone to replace him? I have not yet seen the length of the contracts of our head coach and our general manager. I would say about 6 years. Hopefully by 4 o’clock they will have earned them. I continue to use the magic 8 ball that I found at the garage sale, of course while wearing my Ricky jersey that I bought for ten dollars. And every time I ask them if they made the right decision, the answer keeps coming back. Try again? Does that mean in 6 years, try again or this thing is stuck? Well, I guess we have years to decide if all is well in the Universe……………………
trainer k 13 likes the idea of hiring staff from GB Pakcker because of its past successes.
I really don’t care what happens with Green Bay! LOL!, but I like that Miami gets coaches from the Packers. Let’s face it, they’ve been a solid team for many years.
finfanfromsiam thinks Green Bay will retain its culture and just recharge its batteries. Also hopes this translates the same way for the Dolphins.
I think the Packers will reload and everything will be fine. They have their culture and their way of doing things, so everything will be fine. We can only hope that translates into what we can build here. I think getting rid of the Grier/McDaniel anchor is addition by subtraction. The new infusion of blood should propel us forward and hopefully reach the same Green Bay neighborhood. We will see how this plays out from March onwards.
Spok507 doesn’t know much about the Packers guys, but seems encouraged by the idea of them moving on from Tua.
I admit that I don’t know much about the new GM and HC and even less about the Packers. I can only hope they have a plan to bring this franchise back to prominence. I’ve waited a long time for them to move on from the mistake of drafting Tua, so I have to hope things improve. I believe they can rebuild as long as they now focus on substance rather than flash.
Well that’s it for our comments this evening. As always, thank you to each of you who took the time to answer our Phinsider question of the day. I’ll be back tomorrow evening with a new question of the day post.
