THE Dishes add to their pitching depth, signing a left-handed pitcher Trey McGough to a two-year contract in the minor leagues, reports Will Sammon of The Athletic.
McGough, 27, has a 3.21 ERA and 1.15 WHIP over six minor league seasons.

He spent time in the Pirates, Orioles and White Sox organizations.
McGough worked primarily as a starter in college at Mount St. Mary’s and during his first few seasons in the minor leagues, but was primarily used in relief in 2024 and 2025.
With Devin Williams And Luke Weaver, Mets’ 2026 bullpen expected to include lefties AJ Minter And Brooks Raley – although the start of Minter’s season could be delayed a little following surgery last May.
Huascar Brazoban Also in the bullpen group, as are the hard-throwing prospects Dylan Ross And Ryan Lambert.
Other relievers who could compete for roles include Jonathan Pintaro (who made his league debut last season), Adbert Alzolay (who signed a two-year minor league contract and missed the 2025 season), Richard Lovelady, Alex CarrilloAnd Joey Gerber.
