Michael King appears to be the most likely of the departing free agents to sign next, according to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com.
According to Feinsand, it is believed that King will get a four-year contract.
The two New York teams are among its contenders, alongside the Red Sox, Orioles and Cubs.

This is certainly not a surprise, because Greg Joyce of the New York Post reported Monday that the Yankees were open to a reunion with King, whom they dealt to the Padres as part of the Juan Soto trade.
THE Dishes have also been linked to the 30-year-old this offseason, and both teams would have had a video meeting before last week’s winter meetings.
Although King’s injury history makes him a bit risky, he presents an intriguing addition to either rotation.
The Rochester native was one of the best arms in baseball two seasons ago in his first year as a full-time starter, finishing seventh in Cy Young voting after posting a 2.95 ERA and 201 strikeouts.
He was solid again when healthy last season, but two different IL stints limited him to just 15 outings.
