We have the Dallas Mavericks against. Boston Celtics Match 2 Results according to NBA 2K24 to see who the game says will win Game 2 of the NBA Finals. The Celtics erased the Mavericks in Game 1, with the hope of doing the same in the second game. The Mavericks, meanwhile, are looking to bounce back from an ugly performance in Game 1 and tie the series. So who will win this crucial game before the series heads to Dallas?

Mavericks vs. Celtics NBA Finals Game 2 results according to NBA 2K24

According to our NBA 2K24 simulation, the The Boston Celtics will defeat the Dallas Mavericks in Game 2 of the Finals by a score of 108-101. Despite an embarrassing second quarter performance that only saw them score nine points, the Celtics played better than the Mavericks for most of the game. However, they still needed to take the game to overtime to extend their series lead.

TEAM Quarter 1 Quarter 2 Quarter 3 Quarter 4 OT Final
DAL 18 29 23 23 8 101
BOS 27 9 31 26 15 108

Yes, if you look at the scoreboard above, you’ll notice that Boston only scored nine points in the second quarter. If they had scored five fewer points, they would have broken the record for fewest points scored by an NBA team in a single quarter. But if you look at the rest of the match, the team played very well. They dominated the Mavericks in four more quarters, including overtime.

Additionally, the Mavericks’ offense was extremely ineffective throughout the day. Outside of their strong 2nd quarter performance, the team never managed to score more than 23 points in any other quarter throughout the entire game. Yet despite all of this, they still pushed the game into overtime.

In terms of player performance, Jayson Tatum wins the ball. He scored 32 points while grabbing 14 rebounds and adding three more assists to his stat sheet. Kristaps Porzingis also explained why he is such an important player on this Celtics team. He finished the day with 13 points, 13 rebounds, three steals and a block. Jaylen Brown also performed well, putting up 28 points and six assists in the contest.

Kyrie Irving was the only Maverick to score more than 20 points on the night. He finished the day with 24 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal. However, he was extremely inaccurate throughout the game, something we don’t expect to see from the SG star. Luka Doncic also didn’t play spectacularly, recording 19 points and 10 assists. Doncic also turned the ball over three times.

Additionally, check out some game stats:

Nonconformists STATUS Celtics
41/95 (43%) Field objectives 38/94 (40%)
11/39 (28%) Three pointers 16/45 (36%)
8/10 (80%) Free Spins 16/19 (84%)
8 Offensive rebounds 12
47 Defensive rebounds 48
3 Stolen 4
5 Blocks 2
6 (4) Turnover (points excluding) 4 (11)
15 Team fouls 7
12 The biggest advance 14
27:11 Moment of possession 25:47

With this victory, the Celtics take a 2-0 lead in the series. They now head to Dallas, where they can potentially end the series if they continue to play well. However, we don’t think it’s that simple, considering how hard the Mavericks have played this year. That said, Boston is in a great position and poised to win the NBA Finals.

As for the Mavericks, the loss here puts them in a bad position. Even though they will return home for Games 2 and 3, they are just hoping to even the series during that time. That being said, the team has had a pretty intense playoff run thus far. We do not doubt their ability to make a strong comeback effort. However, it will remain an uphill battle for Doncic, Irving and co.

In terms of accuracy, we think the match was a bit weak, considering it went into overtime. However, if we adjust the sliders further, teams would lose more than 120 points per game, which doesn’t seem as realistic to us. Additionally, because of the constant fatigue from playing so often in the playoffs, the point total is expected to drop. So we are happy with the result so far. Regardless, we’ll continue to adjust our sliders to find that perfect balance.

Overall, this concludes our Mavericks vs. Celtics, Game 2 Results according to NBA 2K24. If you want more NBA 2K content, always keep an eye on the latest Redeemable locker codes.
