We have the Dallas Mavericks vs. Boston Celtics, Game 1 NBA Finals results according to NBA 2K24. The Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in the conference finals and are looking to win their second NBA championship in franchise history. Meanwhile, the Celtics swept the Pacers and hope to win their first NBA championship since 2008. Both teams have played dominantly this season, but there can only be one team that hoists the Larry O championship trophy ‘Brien. Who did NBA 2K24 win the first game of this series?

Mavericks vs. Celtics NBA Finals Game 1 results according to NBA 2K24

According to our NBA 2K24 simulation, The Dallas Mavericks will defeat the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the NBA Finals by a score of 101-93. The Celtics played well in the first quarter and a half, taking advantage of Dallas’ missed shots and opportunities. However, the roles reversed towards the end of the third quarter, as it was the Celtics who struggled to score.

TEAM Quarter 1 Quarter 2 Quarter 3 Quarter 4 FINAL
DAL 23 25 32 21 101
BOS 28 24 21 20 93

Jayson Tatum converted a three-pointer with 48.2 seconds left in the third. The score was then 74-73 (Mavericks in the lead). The next time Boston scored was 8:46 into the fourth quarter, when Jrue Holiday converted another three. During that span, Dallas scored 15 unanswered points, taking an 89-76 lead. Although they still had time to come back, Boston’s offense failed to put more points on the board.

In terms of player performance, Kyrie Irving takes the ball tonight. He dropped 32 points while collecting six rebounds, six assists and a steal. Although he turned the ball over three times, his offensive performance catapulted Dallas to a Game 1 victory. We would be wrong not to mention Luka Doncic, who dropped 22 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists, almost deserving a triple double. He nevertheless contributed to the team’s victory.

As for the Celtics, Jayson Tatum was their only effective player on offense. He scored 29 points, had 6 rebounds, 9 assists and a steal during the game. However, only one other player on the team managed to score more than 10 points, namely Al Horford. Even with Kristaps Porzingis back on the court (and against his former team), the Celtics didn’t do enough as a group to win this one.

Additionally, check out some game stats:

Nonconformists STATUS Celtics

12/41 (29%) Three pointers 14/48 (29%)
13/15 (87%) Free Spins 13/13
9 Offensive rebounds 5
46 Defensive rebounds 39
4 Stolen 3
4 Blocks 1
6 (8) Turnover (points excluding) 5 (8)
7 Team fouls 8
16 The biggest advance 13

With this victory, the Mavericks secure the first game of the NBA finals. Winning is good, and winning on the road is even better. If they can beat Boston in Game 2, they can potentially end the series at home in Games 3 and 4. However, we don’t think it will be that easy for the Mavericks. But with players like Irving and Doncic, the team is ready to win its second championship.

With this defeat, the Celtics are now trailing, but at least by one game. They have a chance to even the series at home in Game 2 before traveling to Dallas. The team had a lead in the second quarter, so there’s no reason to think they can’t do it again. However, they will just have to find a way to fend off the Mavericks’ comeback attempts. We’ll see if the Celtics can even the series in game two.

In terms of accuracy, we believe the scoreboard reflects a realistic score from an NBA game. And if you followed our simulations, we are happy to see that the Mavericks ultimately do not lose 130 points or more. We’ve made some serious changes to the CPU sliders to create more authentic scores. We didn’t want NBA Finals simulations to see both teams losing unrealistically low point totals.

However, we still want to improve a few more aspects. The blueprint conversions seemed a little too weak, so we may need to make a slight adjustment. Regardless, we will continue to strive to create authentic and fun simulations for you to enjoy.

Overall, this concludes our Mavericks vs. Celtics, Game 1 Results according to NBA 2K24. If you are looking for more NBA 2K content, try use the latest locker codes.
