Manchester City take on Tottenham Hotspur today at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a crucial Premier League match. Pep Guardiola’s side will be eager to pick up three points to move back to within four points of Premier League leaders Arsenal. Mikel Arteta’s side are seven points clear of City after their victory against Leeds United yesterday. City will face a Tottenham side who have struggled in the Premier League this season. Thomas Frank’s side have flattered to deceive in terms of their league performances. But they beat City earlier this season, so a tough test awaits Pep Guardiola’s side.

Here’s the latest City injury news and my predicted City starting XI ahead of today’s game.

Manchester City injury and team news.

Many players are unavailable for today’s match due to injury at Manchester City. Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol, John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, Jeremy Doku and Savinho are all ruled out of today’s match. Pep Lijnders revealed that Doku was should be excluded for between two and three weeks due to the calf injury he suffered during City’s win over Galatasaray. Lijnders also revealed that Ruben Dias was expected to return to training on Monday. Today’s game comes too soon for Manchester City’s defensive leader but his return from a hamstring injury is imminent.

Manchester City will be boosted by the returns of Rodri, Marc Guehi and Antoine Semenyo. Rodri missed Manchester City’s win over Galatasaray due to suspension, but is available for today’s crucial match. Both Guehi and Semenyo were ineligible to play in the Champions League, but both return today in a huge boost for Pep Guardiola’s side.

City planned from eleven o’clock.
