Luka Dončić did not return for the second half of Saturday’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers.
THE Lakers ruled out Dončić due to left leg contusion just before the start of the second half. The severity of the injury and the timetable for Dončić’s return were initially unclear. It is also unclear when he was injured.

One game after tallying 45 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds in a win over the Utah Jazz, Dončić struggled with his efficiency in the first half against the Clippers. He had 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 turnovers while shooting 4 of 13 from the field and 1 of 6 from 3 in 19 minutes.
The Lakers trailed 54-39 to start the second half. They started the game without Austin Reaves (calf), Rui Hachimura (groin), Deandre Ayton (elbow) and Gabe Vincent (back).
