Kickoff between the Vols and Bulldogs is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia. ABC will broadcast the top 10 match.

Tennessee defeated its rivals FloridaGeorgia and Alabama during the 1998 season. Tennessee would win the first BCS National Championship with a 23-16 victory over State of Florida at the 1999 Fiesta Bowl.
The Vols led Georgia 9-3 at halftime after Jeff Hall scored three field goals in the first half. Hall converted attempts of 27, 39 and 43 yards respectively. Georgia’s Hap Hines kicked a 48-yard field goal with 1 minute, 55 seconds left in the first quarter to tie the game.
In the third quarter, quarterback Tee Martin completed two 3-yard touchdown pass attempts to Cedrick Wilson and Peerless Price.
Martin completed 16 of 26 pass attempts for 156 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Price totaled five receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown, while Wilson recorded four receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown.
Travis Stephens was the Vols’ leading rusher, totaling 107 yards on 20 attempts.
