The Lockland local school district hired Ryan Erkins as the New football head lead Lockland High School. Erkins brings a decade of coach experience and a passion for the development of young people on the Panthers football program.
Originally from Cincinnati, Erkins graduated from Walnut Hills High School in 2007, where he played football. He obtained his baccalaureate from Mount Saint Joseph University and then obtained a mastery of science in coaching training at the University of Ohio.
Erkins’ coach career started at St. Antoninus school, where he spent three years of high school football. He then moved to the university level, as a quarter-offensive coordinator in Western Hills High School for three years.

After that, he assumed similar roles to Finneytown secondary school before being promoted assistant head coach during his last year.
Erkins has a solid behavioral health base, having worked as well as possible (formerly the Cincinnati children’s house) and the partial program of the Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati in Mason. His experience of working with young people at various titles shaped his coaching philosophy, emphasizing personal growth, teamwork and resilience.
“I am delighted to join the Lockland community and lead the Panthers football program,” Erkins said in a press release. “It is an incredible community with incredible children full of potential while waiting to be exploited. I am delighted to help them grow up and off the field. »»
Lockland sports director Jon Payne said: “His passion and enthusiasm for the development of students and athletes to be their best will be well used for our school community. We are very happy that coach Erkins runs the football program and we look forward to watching him make his brand in the program. »»
