Breanna StewartThe WNBA Finals game Napheesa Collier is must-see television.

The 2023 MVP and the Defensive Player of the Year 2024 traded buckets, blocks and steals all over the court as their teams battle for a WNBA trophy. I’m totally here for it, and it’s probably a good preview of what we’ll see in January when Unrivaledthe league of which they are co-owners, starts.

I’m also here for the good old legal shenanigans. Some wonderful basketball fans and adorable lip readers think they caught Stewie hilariously saying, “Tech! Tech! Tech her!” to nearby referees after she and Phee tangled late in Game 2. Phee apparently threw the basketball in frustration after a foul, and Stewie immediately started chirping.
