The Lions closed the week by re-signing one of their players.
The team announced that it has re-signed the offensive line player Kayode Awosika. They have not revealed any condition of the agreement.
Awosika signed with the Eagles after being not drafted in 2021 and the Lions signed him from the Philadelphia training team in 2022. He appeared in 36 games and made seven departures during his stay in Detroit.
The Lions have four of their five starting offensive line players from 2024 for the 2025 season. The Kevin Zeitler right guard should be replaced by Christian Mahany by Awosika and Dan Skipper as their two best reservations.
