Miami’s last game in the CONCACAF Champions Cup was the most sought after game in the country on Wednesday. Talk about being a needle mover!

According to reports, Inter Miami vs. Nashville was the most searched for sporting event in the United States earlier this week, with more than 200,000 searches on Google. While this is no ordinary feat, the value is increased tenfold considering the competition the game faced. The Miami match takes place on the same date as Arsenal v Porto and Inter Milan v Atletico Madrid. To further add to their challenge, the NFL free agency also began earlier this week, with fans eager to learn the fate of some of the biggest soccer stars in the United States.

However, despite the tough competition, Miami midweek game has become the most searched keyword in the sports category. For reference, the famous reality show Love is a blind meeting also aired the same week, with the show ending 200,000 searches on Google. Love is Blind and Miami vs. Nashville are both tied for second on Google Trends of the Day in the United States. Meanwhile, the top spot was held by Paul Alexandrethe American paralytic polio survivor having died the same day.

As of Wednesday, March 13, Inter Miami was the most searched sports topic on Google, with more than 200,000 searches in the United States.

The Champions League clashes between Arsenal and Porto also ranked in the top five, while the match between Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid finished 9th in Google’s trending rankings. The match between Inter Miami and Nashville saw Lionel Messi deliver from the front, helping his team advance to the quarter-finals of the tournament.
