Matilda Lind de Cumberland was appointed female golfer of the Mid-South conference of the week while Patrick Chesnut obtained the honor of men, the League announced on Monday.
Lind, a second -year student in Sweden, delivered a solid performance at the invitation of Spring Forest Kinderlou, ending equally in the sixth row in a 45 -playing field which included six teams among the best 25.
It was the higher finish of the Phoenix, carding of 78, 73 and 76 on the arrangement by 72, 5,818 yards at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club. Lind recorded four birdies throughout the tournament.
Honor is the third golfer of the week of Mid-South Mid-South in his career and the first in his second season.
Cumberland’s Womenf will return to action next Monday and Tuesday at Emmanuel Spring invites.
Chesnut, a junior of Athens, Alberta, achieved an impressive performance at the invitation of Kinderlou Forest Spring, finishing fifth in a competitive field which included four best teams. He pulled towers of 77, 72 and a career record 68 to claim the honors of all tournaments in an area of ​​44 players.
His last lap, a 68-year-old four-mine was without Bogey, and he closed the tournament on an incredible sequence of 31 holes without Hols, recording 10 birdies during the three-round event. Chesnut helped direct the Phoenix against a solid field of eight teams at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club, a Par-72 route that extends over 7,257 yards.
This marks the first weekly honor of the Mid-South conference of the season and the career of Chesnut.
The men of Cumberland will return to the action during their next tournament on March 10 and 11 at Carey Collegiate in Hattiesburg, Miss.
