As the offseason continues, it appears the Yankees officially made Bellinger an offer earlier this week, according to the Jon Heyman of the New York Post.

It’s no surprise that the Yankees did this, since Bellinger is the team’s No. 1 target this offseason, but Heyman added. that with the two sides in a weeks-long standoff, the Mets cannot be ruled out.
Other teams linked to Bellinger are the Dodgers, where the outfielder began his career, and the Giants. Heyman also adds the Blue Jays as a potential landing spot if Toronto doesn’t reach Kyle Tucker, Alex Bregman Or Bô Bichette.

The Chronicle of San Francisco Susan Slusser recently reported that the Giants “verified” Cody Bellingerthe Yankees’ No. 1 target.
Bellinger proved to be a big part of last season for the Yanks, contributing well on both sides of the ball with 29 homers, 98 RBIs and a .272/.334/.480 slash line for an .813 OPS (125 OPS+ and wRC+) while ranking in the 93rd percentile in strikeouts above average (seven) and with 12 defensive runs saved.

With Trent Grisham By accepting the qualifying offer, the Yankees would have a surplus of outfielders if Bellinger re-signs.
