Busch had that classic smirk on his face once his sweep was completed. Looks like he’s getting used to winning in Florida. Daytona is next. This season, the pressure is going to be on this team to succeed.

Kyle Busch is still looking for his first Daytona 500 victory. He hasn’t managed to do it yet. Richard Childress Racing is having great success in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series at Daytona. Austin Dillon won the 500. Is this the year Busch finally gets there and wins the Great American Race?

Things have changed at Richard Childress Racing. Busch will have Jim Pohlman in his booth this season. Pohlman comes to RCR from JR Motorsports and Justin Allgaier’s No. 7 team. Maybe a new face on the No. 8 team can make all the difference this season for Busch.
RCR Enterprises has also taken leadership actions across the broader organization. ECR Engines, CT Springs and RCR Manufacturing all have new presidents at the helm. Austin Dillon has now won twice since Kyle Busch’s last win. At some point, something has to give. Busch’s winless streak will weigh heavily on this team until they can break it.
For now, Kyle Busch will enjoy these three Auburndale wins. In a few days, he will be locked in and ready to qualify and then compete in the Duels. From there, it’s just a few days until the Daytona 500 and his next chance to make history.
