Kris Wright has signed a deal that will see him compete full-time in 2026, driving the No. 81 McAnally-Hilgemann (MHR) Racing Chevrolet.
Wright parted ways with Our Motorsports midway through the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season and has since made appearances in a handful of truck and ARCA races.

He has 49 starts in the NCTS, and his two starts in 2025 came with MHR. He finished 26th at the Charlotte Roval and 11th at Talladega.
“I’m really looking forward to next year and being a part of the MHR program,” Wright said. “It’s the biggest organization I’ve had the chance to race with, and it’s going to be a great opportunity to put resources to good use. I felt really good working with Darren (Fraley) in the two races we ran this fall. There’s a lot of familiarity there, so I’m really encouraged that we can have a good season in 2026.”
The team will also field the No. 18 with Tyler Ankrum, as well as the No. 91 with Christian Eckes. Ankrum took the team all the way to Championship 4 last year, placing fourth in the standings after a race finale.

“We are happy to have been able to get Kris into a few races before the end of the season and to have him on board in 2026,” said team owner Bill McAnally. “With Darren (Fraley) leading the No. 81 team, we are ensuring Kris has a strong team behind him and motivated to elevate his career in his first full-time season.”
