Kodai Senga took the mound on Friday evening, making its first start of triple-a after a demotion of the Put.
The right -hander was an immediate success, obtaining a pair of works of Worcester to chase the fork balls in dirt for two stick withdraws in a perfect summit of the first.
The SOXs were able to strike against Senga in the second, however, at the top lead and a double of RBI on the line of the right field brought the first round of the match.
Senga rebounded well in the following three rounds – he gathered a third own, used a double ball to work through the fourth, then removed a pair in an easy fifth.
He then only needed eight locations to cross the sixth after the Syracuse offensive joined himself to give him an advance for the first time at the end of half of the fifth.
This closed the last senga line with a round allowed on only three strokes without walks and eight stick withdrawals.
He used his full arsenal at night by throwing 74 throws, 52 of which were strikes.
Senga had granted three or more deserved points in six of his last eight outings before her demotion, bringing his ERA to 3.02 for the season.
He should make at least two outings of minor leagues before potentially reaching the Grande League team.
Friday’s dominant projection was certainly a good first step.
