The Eastern Conference Semifinals series between the Knicks and Pacers is heading into Game 7.
Indiana made a resounding statement in Game 6, using a big third quarter to pull away from New York. The result was a 116-103 victory for the Pacers, led by 25 points from Pascal Siakam. Tyrese Haliburton finished with 15 points and nine assists.
It was a strange performance from the Knicks, who saw Donte DiVincenzo and Miles McBride get hot starts while Jalen Brunson struggled in the first half. Brunson found his rhythm in the second half but his 31 points weren’t enough.

A little over three minutes remain and the starters are eliminated while the Pacers lead by 18 points. The series returns to Madison Square Garden for Game 7 on Sunday.

10:48 p.m.: Josh Hart’s night is over.
The Knicks have ruled out their rebounding ace due to abdominal pain. His status for Game 7 will certainly be one to watch.

10:43 p.m.: He has officially moved away from the Knicks.
Josh Hart was once again knocked out of the game with his apparent abdominal injury and a 3-point basket by Andrew Nembhard gave Indiana a 20-point lead.
There is a timeout on the field and Tom Thibodeau could wave the white flag with less than nine minutes remaining.

10:31 p.m.: The Pacers are starting to pull away.
After a quick lapse to open the quarter, the Pacers outscored the Knicks 27-19 to take a 13-point lead into the fourth quarter. Indiana is 12 minutes away from forcing a Game 7.
Pascal Siakam has a game-high 21 points, while Tyrese Haliburton has 15 points and eight assists.
Jalen Brunson has found his rhythm but it may be too late. After a difficult first half, he had 19 points in this one, including 14 in the third quarter.
10:05 p.m.: Two minutes, two timeouts.
The Pacers respond with a 6-0 sprint and the Knicks fall by 11 points. Time out on the ground.

10:00 p.m.: After Jalen Brunson opened the half with a technical free throw, the Knicks scored two quick buckets to cut the deficit in half.
Rick Carlisle called a timeout 38 seconds into the second half.

9:42 p.m.: The Pacers close the half on a 17-5 run to take a 10-point lead heading into halftime.
The story of the first half was the struggles of Jalen Brunson, who, after making his first two field goals, missed 11 in a row. Brunson has five points on 2-of-13 shooting and has missed three of his four free throw attempts.
Donte DiVincenzo and Miles McBride each scored 15 points to lead New York.
The Pacers enter the half shooting 56.5 percent from the field. Pascal Siakam led the way for Indiana with 15 points while Myles Turner made a statement with 11 points, four of which came on big dunks.
Tyrese Haliburton had eight points and six assists.
9:35 p.m.: After an emphatic dunk from Myles Turner, it was a 13-2 run for the Pacers, who had a nine-point lead with less than two minutes remaining in the half.
This is a crucial spot for the Knicks, who can’t afford to let the game get away from them.

9:28 p.m.: We have a high-scoring business on our hands and the Pacers are strong on the offensive end.
Knicks leader Tom Thibodeau isn’t too happy and called another timeout.
Indiana leads by two and shoots 22 of 39 (56.4%) from the field. Despite his mistakes, Pascal Siakam posted a team record with 13 points and five rebounds in 12 minutes of action.

Miles McBride leads New York with 15 points, which, given the lack of production from the Knicks’ other key players, could be intentional.
9:20 p.m.: The Pacers responded to open the second quarter.
Another scoring dunk from Obi Toppin gave Indiana the lead again with just over two minutes into the game. New York called a timeout.
Toppin came off the bench to score seven points in seven minutes.

9:10 p.m.: After two blowouts, these two teams traded to open Game 6.
Led by 11 points from Miles McBride and 10 points from Donte DiVincenzo, New York is up one point after one. Jalen Brunson has just five points on 2-of-7 shooting while Josh Hart is scoreless after suffering abdominal discomfort.
Pascal Siakam’s seven points lead the Pacers but he also committed two quick fouls. His faulty situation will need to be monitored throughout the match. Indiana’s bench advanced with 11 points early on.

The third-year guard from New York is a perfect 3 of 3 from deep and has a game-high 11 points. The Knicks now have a four-point lead with four minutes left in the first quarter.

8:50 p.m.: Andrew Nembhard sets the tone for Indiana from the start.
Nembhard scored six points in five minutes of action and the Pacers quickly took a two-point lead. For the Knicks, Jalen Brunson has four points at the start of the match. There are 6:58 left in the first frame.
