The New York Knicks star had 43 points in a 122-109 win over Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks, marking his 32nd 30-point game and ninth 40-point game of the season.
Behind Brunson’s hot hand, the Knicks erased an 11-point halftime deficit to come back and score a big win over a Finals contender.

Brunson is having by far the best season of his career and is proving to be a star in the league. He’s averaging a career-high 28 points and 6.7 assists per game, leading New York with Julius Randle. out for the season. Sunday’s game marked his third straight game with 30-plus points and he has reached that number in four of the last five games, including a 61-point game during the streak.
With the win, the Knicks improved to 46-32 on the year and currently sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference. New York is just one game behind the Bucks, who hold the No. 2 seed, and the Knicks are looking for a late push to improve their seeding ahead of the playoffs.
