Ram returns to the NASCAR Truck Series this year for the first time in more than a decade, partnering with Kaulig Racing to form a five-truck effort for the 2026 season.
The ambitious plan will include Brenden Queen, Justin Haley and Daniel Dye as full-time drivers in pursuit of the title. It will also feature an all-star truck described as the “Free Agent Program” with different drivers announced throughout the year.

However, the fifth and final seat will be determined through a reality competition called Race for the seat. The competition features 15 aspiring drivers competing for the final Ram 1500 seat at Kaulig Racing. The team partnered with UFC President and CEO Dana White as executive producer of the show. Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis and Kaulig Racing team owner Matt Kaulig will also feature heavily on the show.
Drivers will compete in different vehicles and on tracks ranging from Virginia International Raceway to South Boston Speedway to win the grand prize, a shot at one of NASCAR’s national levels.
