The West Maui Community Association is hosting an informational meeting today on the Hawaii State Employees’ Retirement System’s Kā’anapali Golf Course Revitalization Project.

The ERS, which provides retirement, disability, survivor and other benefits to more than 120,000 members, is proposing changes to portions of its 305-acre Kā’anapali Golf Course properties in West Maui.
Improvements under discussion include renovating the resort’s golf courses and adding a mix of residential and commercial elements.
Information will be shared on the project’s environmental impact study process and planned timeline.
The meeting runs from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Lahaina Middle School.
