Vikings quarterback JJ McCarthy left Sunday’s win over the Giants with a right hand injury and he reportedly missed Monday’s practice for the same reason.
The Vikings submitted an estimated injury report before Thursday’s game against the Lions and it showed McCarthy as a non-participant. X-rays of the hand came back negative, but further tests were planned Monday to determine the extent of McCarthy’s injury.
