The jets agreed to add new players to their secondary on Monday and they also moved to keep a member of the defensive field last year.
They announced that they had submitted security Tony Adams as a limited free agent. Adams has received a tender for the first rehearsal of the team, which means that the jets will be able to match any offer that he accepts with another team but will not obtain any compensation if he leaves.
Adams will earn $ 3.263 million if it plays under the terms of the label.
Adams has spent the last three seasons with the jets and he has made 26 departures in the past two seasons. He had 84 plated, an interception and a bag last season.
The jets also accepted the terms with the Cornerback Brandon Stephens and the security Andre Cisco after the start of the free agency negotiation period on Monday.
