Oak Ridge native Jennifer Azzi is a finalist in the class of Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame 2025.
AzziCurrently the Las Vegas Aces Aces Affairs Affairs Affairs of WNBA, was an All-American in Stanford from 1986 to 1990 to play to play to Tara Vanderveer coach.

Azzi was one of the best 3-point shooters in the history of women’s basketball. She still holds the record of the percentage of 3 career points in the WNBA (45.8%) and in Stanford (45.2%), which won the national title of the 1990 NCAA and she was appointed the most exceptional player .
Azzi was the PAC-10 player of the year in 1989 and 1990 and the winner of the year of the Naimemith College of the year 1990 and the Wade trophy.
One of the most important parts of his career was appointed to the American Olympic Olympic team of the 1996 American gold medal which led to the creation of the WNBA.
Among his other distinctions: Gold medals at the FIBA World Championships 1990 and 1998 in 1990 and 1998 and induction at the female basketball temple in 2009.
After four seasons playing abroad, she helped co-found the American Basketball League, which finally folded.
Detroit’s shock chose her at No. 5 of the WNBA Restchage 1999. She played from 1999 to 2003, including with Utah Starzz.
She had a brief coach career with the University of San Francisco from 2010 to 2016.
