Jamestown Blue Jays boys soccer advances to state tournament for first time in program history

The Jamestown High School boys soccer team lost 2-3 in the MDU Resources Community Bowl today to Minot.

Minot gets third place, while Jamestown finishes fourth. Fargo Shanley, who beat the Blue Jays in the semifinals 1-0, would win the state championship against Bismarck Legacy today 2-1.

The Blue Jays finished the season with a 12-4-2 record and reached the furthest point from the state tournament in program history. Jamestown had five players named to the 2023 All-WDA team and head coach Brandi Harty was named WDA Coach of the Year. Blue Jays players Iddi Ramadhani and Brady Harty were named to the 2023 tournament all-star team. Coach Harty was named North Dakota Coach of the Year.
