The giants finished waiting for Aaron Rodgers.
Friday, with Rodgers visiting Pittsburgh, the Giants signed the quarter-arre veteran Jameis Winston.
He joined Tommy Devito as the only two quarters on the list of giants. They will surely add more, perhaps thanks to the project.
The first choice of the 2015 draft, Winston spent five years with the Buccaneers, four with the saints and one with the Browns. It has 105 regular seasonal appearances with 87 departures. His record as a starter is 36-51.
Winston launched 154 Touché passes, with 11 interceptions.
He has become a committing and colorful personality. It could be the kick in the ass that the giants need.
The movement most likely removed the giants from the race for Aaron Rodgers, limiting its option to the Steelers, perhaps the Vikings and possibly retired.
