The JagExpress The Green Route The shuttle will end its service Lot 65 (Purchasing Building) at 1225 Walton Way, effective November 4.
Augusta University Health employees who currently park there and commute to hospital buildings are being reassigned to Lot 55 (former Kroger lot) on 15th Street.
These changes are based on parking and JagExpress Shuttle data, according to Dale Hartenburghead of the auxiliaries. He said the removal of the Lot 65 stop would significantly shorten the Green Route, improving efficiency for all users.
Lot 55 was recently expanded to accommodate first-year student parking and to meet the growing demand for parking for employees on the Health Sciences campus. Lot 55 is served by the Lot 55 Express shuttle as well as the The Green Route.
