MALAGA, Spain (AP) — Italy returned to the Billie Jean King Cup final after beating Poland 2-1 on Monday.
Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini beat Iga Swiatek and Katarzyna Kawa 7-5, 7-5 in the doubles decider in Malaga.
Lucia Bronzetti gave Italy the lead by beating Magda Linette 6-4, 7-6 (3).
Swiatek leveled the semifinal by beating Paolini 3-6, 6-4, 6-4.
Italy was a finalist in Canada last year.
The other semi-final between Great Britain and Slovakia takes place on Tuesday.
