The 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season has taken a while to get up to speed, but it’s time to open things up.

After a winter storm that dumped nearly a foot of snow on parts of North Carolina pushed back the Clash at Bowman Gray by three days, teams will have a shorter turnaround time before the annual extravaganza at Daytona.
It’s also a little less time for Ryan Preece to revel in his victory at the season-opening ceremony, but he’ll happily take his momentum to Florida, where warmer temperatures await.
While the Clash is considered a soft opener each year, the action kicks off at all levels of stock car racing once the stage moves to Daytona. In addition to the headliner Cup Series, ARCA, the Truck Series and the new O’Reilly Auto Parts Series will all be in action.
