Wilson fractured his left hand against Miami on February 10. He is UNC’s leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 19.8 points (fourth in the ACC) and 9.4 rebounds (third).
North Carolina coach Hubert Davis said Wilson had his cast off and was participating in individual workouts. He added that Wilson can dribble, shoot and catch but can’t do anything with contact and five-on-five.
UNC has won four of its last five games without Wilson, a top-five pick in the 2026 NBA draft.
Clemson coach Brad Brownell said North Carolina played a similar game despite Wilson’s absence.
